About O’Fallon 

With a population of just over 88,000 people, O’Fallon is a city located between Lake St. Louis and St. Peters and is a part of the St. Louis metropolitan area. The city has numerous attractions including the 9/11 Memorials and Veterans Memorial Walk. O’Fallon tourism is also centralized around the city’s many seasonal festivals, such as the Celebration of Lights & Old-Fashion Holiday Stroll, Food Truck Frenzy, Tree Lighting Ceremony, Heritage & Freedom Fest, and Founders’ Day. O’Fallon’s first settler was a German immigrant, Nicholas Krekel, and he settled here because his older brother purchased land that was partially donated to a railroad line. The city was officially incorporated in 1912 with 600 residents.
